Why You Should Eat More Kiwi
Do you like kiwi? I love these fresh little fruits, especially as an afternoon snack in the summer! My kids love them too, which helps a lot when packing lunches. Besides being super yummy, they have a bunch of amazing health benefits including:
Help with asthma
The high levels of Vitamin C and antioxidants help with asthma.
Aid digestion
Kiwis are high in fiber, which helps with digestion.
Boost the immune system
This is especially important during the flu season aka right now!! Because they are so high in Vitamin C, they are similar to oranges. Both fruits help keep disease and germs away.
Lower blood pressure
Protect against vision loss
They also have 5 times the amount of Vitamin C as an orange!
